This is the table, not of the church, but of Jesus Christ.
All are welcome at the table.
It is the table of sharing with the rich and poor of the world alike, for Jesus identified with all people.
It is the table of communion with the earth,
in which Christ became incarnate.
So come to this table. You who have much faith
and you who would like to have more;
You who have been here often and you who have not been for awhile. Come to this table you who are questioning
and you who are on a journey of discovery.
Come.
It is Jesus who invites us to meet him here.
All are invited.
